What we do

Diligent Finance is a financial planning tool that simulates your financial life. All calculations run in your browser. We store your plan data so you can access it later.

Data we collect

• Plan data — the financial information you enter (income, expenses, loans, etc.). This is stored on our servers so your plan persists between visits.
• Google account email — only if you choose to sign in with Google, so you can access your data from any device. We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or any other Google data.
• Basic usage data — anonymous analytics (page views, errors) to help us improve the service.

Data we do not collect

• We do not collect your real name, address, or phone number.
• We do not collect bank account numbers, sort codes, or any real financial account credentials.
• We do not sell, share, or provide your data to third parties.

How your data is stored

Your data is stored in Microsoft Azure data centres in the United Kingdom. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access is restricted to the application via managed identity credentials.

Anonymous use

You can use Diligent Finance without signing in. An anonymous identifier is stored in your browser's local storage. If you clear your browser data, access to your anonymous plan is lost.

Your rights

You can delete your data at any time by deleting your workspace within the application. If you need assistance, contact us at the email below.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only (local storage for session management). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
